  • Speaker

Uthman Khan’s research develops a theory of affective resonance that moves between embodied experience and institutional form. Working at the intersection of affect theory and sociocultural anthropology, he examines how emotions, expectations, and power circulate across bodies, organizations, and systems—linking micro-level experience with macro-level structures. His work is grounded in ethnographic research across musical, bureaucratic, and digital settings, with implications for understanding leadership, organizational culture, and institutional change.
